Spec
"Where your money went": what was spent in a month (or this year, or chosen dates), by group, then by category, by place and by every entry, with monthly targets and suggested ones. Part of Road to payday.
What counts
- Spending: withdrawals, less refunds, in spending groups. Card purchases count the day they are made.
- Never spending: transfers, card payments, opening balances and Match my card adjustments (all in Transfers).
- Savings is shown apart ("Also saved"), never as spending.
- Old "Credit card payment" withdrawals count only for someone with no card account.
The page
- Top card: "Spent Oct 1 to 15", the total, the comparison with the same point last month (the whole month before once it's over), "Also saved", the amber over-target note, and the Month chart, which is the period picker.
- The list: All spending, "With a target" (Target bars, over-target groups first) and "No target".
- Wide: the list at the left, the chosen detail at the right, All spending to start. Phones: each group on its own screen.
- A group: total, target, "Usually $171.30 by the 15th" (after 3 full months), each month, by category, by place with visits, and every entry, opening in the register.
- All spending: in and out, by account, by place, the latest entries and bank fees.
Targets
- A monthly amount for a group, or for each of its categories, never both.
- "$70.85 left of $300.00"; over: "$14.00 over your $40.00 target", the amount bold amber, and the bar's part past the target amber.
- Suggested once there are 3 full months: 10% under the average (5% to 25% with the slider), rounded to the dollar, said out loud. Use, Choose my own, or Not now. Never for a fixed bill.
Plans
- During the trial, a line says when it ends. After it, the total and the chart stay; the rest is part of Road to payday, with Subscribe.
